J.Romilly Allen refers to this discovery in his magazine ‘The illustrated Archaeologist’-September 1894 (103-6) , where it stated to have been made at Bangor , in that same year. In the Royal Commission’s Caernarvonshire inventory ii (1960). It is said to have been found on the east side of the high street.
Quantity-At least 15 coins including Eadweard the Elder 899-924.
